Check out the new mobile version of the Pappas Law Library website on your mobile devices! Search the BU catalog and access library news, the Law Library blog, research guides all from your phone. You can even chat with a librarian via LiveChat! All mobile devices are supported.

To access the mobile website simply go to Pappas’s main website at www.bu.edu/lawlibrary using your mobile device. You will automatically be directed to the mobile version of the website. Or use your QR-code reader app…

QR-code readers are available for free at your mobile device’s app store.

New LiveChat Interface

The library now has a new LiveChat interface. You can now access LiveChat on your mobile phone as well as through the Law Library website. The new interface provides you with more features including:

Automatic transcripts Transcripts

Wish you could recall what the librarian said during a chat session? Well, you can now have a transcript of your chat session sent to you. Submit your email address either during or after the chat session and a full transcript with be automatically sent.

Screen Capture

You can now send the librarian an image captured on your computer screen.  Simply click the screen capture button, select the area you wish to capture, and follow the instructions to send, recapture or save the image. This feature is  not available if you are using LiveChat on your phone.

File Sharing

You can send a file to the librarian by selecting the “Send a File” icon. This feature is also not available if you are using LiveChat on your phone.

Offline Messages

LiveChat is Offline? Not to worry! You can still ask your question by filling in the offline email form.  A librarian will respond to your offline question via email as soon as possible.


Chat with a librarian now by selecting the LiveChat link on the Pappas Law Library website. LiveChat is available to the BU community during normal reference hours.
